Yesterday, we posted about Mark’s quest to lose 83 pounds to raise money for the Choroideremia Foundatoon.  Now, Sue has also promised to drop a few pounds to benefit the cause.   Read her story below:

As you may notice by the pictures, I have put on a couple of pounds over the years. Okay, more than a couple. I have decided that this is the year I going to get rid of those extra pounds. Just like anyone else trying to lose weight, I have come up with something to give me some incentive, and that’s where you come in!

I am asking you to sponsor me in my Dropping Calories 4 A Cure Campaign. You may either sponsor on a per pound basis or a set amount that you will donate when I have reached my goals. As you know, my son Markie is losing his sight due to the effects of Choroideremia (CHM). My father has completely lost his sight from this disease. The money we raise will go to the Choroideremia Research Foundation, which is funding the research that we know will save Markies sight.
